Pisces
Pisces Season: February 19th - March 20th
Pisces, the mutable water sign, and the last constellation of the zodiac is kicking off our Zodiac Candle Collection! It may seem a little strange that we are starting at the end but in truth, I myself am a Pisces so I found it a fitting place to start.
We Pisces people are dreamers, represented by two fish symbolising Aphrodite and Eros' transformation into fish to escape from the Greek monster Typhon. This adaptability is a key trait of the sign. Pisces can endure almost anything, learning from pain, hardships, joy, hopes, and dreams making us empathetic and compassionate beyond compare. However, we can become easily overwhelmed by our emotions if we do not stay grounded.
Ruled by Neptune, Pisces are creative beings with boundless imaginations and a tendency to dream more than others. If left unchecked this can manifest as disillusionment and escapism. Our optimistic views on life can be met with harsh reality checks which we often respond to with avoidance - ignorance is bliss after all! When a Pisces faces a problem head on instead of swimming away, it can lead to immense personal growth.
Familiar with the mysterious energy of the ocean, Pisces are deeply spiritual people with a heightened aptitude for clairvoyance. This deep spiritual connection is also present in our relationships. Pisces are kind and gentle, hopeless romantics who thrive on shared experiences and relating on a deeply emotional level. This can make befriending a Pisces an intense experience at first but a true friendship with a Pisces will be loyal and lifelong.
